Prof. Bo Zhiyun developed abdominal acupuncture through decades of clinical observation, research and teaching. His work organised abdominal point selection into a coherent system centred on the Congenital Meridian theory and the standardised Turtle Acupoint Map.

Prof. Bo's work brought abdominal acupuncture into a coherent framework that can be taught, practised and discussed through shared terminology and procedures.
